Special Group Tours

There are several groups that make Corozal and the services of Belize VIP Transfer Services as part of their agenda. Above, a group from Tracks to Adventure took advantage of the oportunity to take a trip to Lamanai, a Mayan site just south of Corozal in the Orange Walk district.

There was a 30 minute trip to Orange Walk, then everyone picked a boat for the trip to the ruins.

The trip to the ruins will take about an hour, with plenty of stops to enjoy the flora and the fauna of the river.

Each boat has a licensed tour guide, a native Belizean.

The guides know what to look for and stop and point out birds, crocodiles and other interesting sights.

The group enjoys the tour after a Belizean lunch of rice and beans and stewed chicken packed by Joan and her staff. After making sure they are protected with insect repellent, they relax and enjoy the trek through the jungle to the ruins.

The guide has provided a lot of interesting information about Lamanai for the group. He has a book with a collection of pictures he happily shares. You can tell by his enthusiasm that he loves his job.

Owning a small B&B in San Pedro offers us many opportunities for us to travel through Cancun to the US for visits. The previous owner left Menzies’ name for travel from Corozal to Chetumal.
